We want to make you aware of a transition at the Community Connection Center. In large part due to the effects of COVID-19, we have found that we can no longer sustain a full-time person in the capacity of Community Connection Director. We also do not know when the State will allow more in-person gatherings. Brian Jeanseau, who has served to oversee our Community Connection Center for the past 2 ½ years, has therefore been released to pursue his next opportunity. We are committed to following the safest path forward for our congregants, neighbors and staff and hope to be able to serve the community in the future.
We know many of you will miss Brian and we encourage you to wish him well in his next endeavor.
We will do our best to continue the connections we have begun with the neighborhood. We do want you to also be aware that when we lost the possibility of selling part of our land to a senior living company, we began to pursue the possibility of merging with another church. It is our hope to sustain this location and all the good that happens out of here. That said, some things will look different, but the value of community is the same. We will keep you updated on these discussions.
Change is difficult on us all. Thank you for understanding.
Phase 1 - Even though many face to face events, classes, and groups have either been temporarily paused or moved online, we are still doing some face to face activities on a smaller scale, especially outdoors with social distancing. Please sign up below for our newsletter, so you can stay updated on what we are still doing for the neighborhood!!!
