For the past two years, October 31 has been a time to bring the whole family for a fun, safe Trick or Treat event at the CCCenter. We'd love to have your decorated TRUNK part of this year's event!
Parent's Shopping Day
Saturday, December 7 — 1:00 PM
Need a day out without the kids to do your Christmas shopping? Bring them (ages 1-12) to the Community Connection Center at Mt. Scott Church for a fun afternoon of games, crafts, snacks, and a G-rated movie. Children will be cared for free of charge by adults who have been background checked.
New Year's Eve Game Night
Tuesday, December 31 — 6:00 PM
A fun night of board games and snacks for the whole family!
We’ll be ringing in the New Year on New York time to allow plenty of time to get the kids to bed early and for adults to be up in time for the ball games the next day. Bring your favorite game, a soft drink, and a snack to share as we play in the new year!
Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter celebration for all the kids. Start the day off by joining your neighbors for breakfast. Then Easter Egg Coloring and Egg Hunt to follow. This is a free event for the community.
Neighborhood Cleanup Day
For the past 11 years we have enjoyed hosting a clean-up day for our neighborhood. Now as we look toward changes on our property, this event will be changing focus to clean-up opportunities within the larger community. We will post details here as soon as decisions are made.
Neighborhood Yard Sale
A neighbor garage sale in the parking lot of the Community Connection Center. This will be our 3rd year of doing this! A selling space and one table is provided free.

National Night Out is an annual neighborhood community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer. For over 35 years, neighborhoods all across the country have been holding these block parties on the first Tuesday in August. 2018 was the first year we hosted this neighborhood block party.
